MindGuard Coaching™ Burnout Prevention
Training for Coaches, HR & Leaders
Group Program 2026
There is an important gap between coaching and psychotherapy. It is where people burn out. Let's fill it together!
Most of the clients I have treated in psychotherapy have said the same thing: they would not have ended up there had they received the right tools and understanding of how their mind and nervous system work — earlier. I believe them, and I've seen it in my own preventive work with high-performing professionals under pressure. It has shaped the focus of my work.
Research is unambiguous about the circumstances that will eventually drain anyone if left unattended. People under pressure can rarely influence the systemic causes alone. However, it is possible to strengthen one's inner stability with the right guidance.
Why the current approaches fall short
Depending on the coach's educational background, coaching may lack the depth and training needed to rapidly stabilise and strengthen systemic composure. Psychotherapy comes when the person is already paying a high personal and professional cost. Since the causes of burnout are always both individual and systemic, prevention requires an integrative approach, and no single framework gives the full map. And, if handling stress with self-help courses worked, the problem would not exist. To work on the "coding level", we need someone in person. That's why we are needed - now more than ever.
To bring results, I had to combine everything I have learned across supervision, coaching, psychotherapy, EQ training, and social neuroscience into one integrated approach.
I call this approach MindGuardCoaching™
The scale of the problem in the current worklife requires new approaches.

The question organisations need to be asking is not only how to support people who are already burned out. It is what we can do to prevent continuous high stress from becoming the operating condition in the first place.
We do not need more therapy services. We need integrative coaching with sufficient depth to be genuinely useful to someone under excessive pressure — and we need it to become part of professional development, leadership, and employee care. Before crisis.
What this training programme offers
This training program offers you the theory, tools, and practical facilitation skills for an integrative, evidence-based burnout-prevention methodology. In this experiential, multi-level process training you will learn to integrate it into your own work. There will be plenty of concrete examples of how to facilitate someone's inner work without it turning into therapy or you overstepping your role as an HR or a line manager. You will be a member of a small group of just 10 people to allow us to have great conversations instead of just lecturing.
To bring into your interpersonal work the necessary depth for real impact, each of our group sessions will give you a science-based psychoeducational EASEL tool, how to use it and the theory related to it. You will first be guided to reflect on it from your own experiences, and then link it to client cases.
At the heart of this programme is the MindGuard Coaching™ Inner Terrain — a map for the journey every person takes toward sustainable performance and inner stability. This map is one of the tools you will get during this program. It shows the topics as places your client will most likely need to "visit", the areas where they might get stuck, the dangers that might seduce them off course, and the landmarks that help them find their way. It draws on the six stages of emotional intelligence. The tools and Inner Terrain Map will serve you as a conversation opener, a process description, and help you and your coachee identify systemic and individual elements causing and maintaining their high stress level, their risk factors for burnout, their strengths, unique triggers etc.
You will learn to coach others effectively, while respecting their privacy. There are facilitation principles that allow individuals to have their own process without sharing their personal details, even in a group context or in an employee-line manager conversation.
Once you've done the process yourself, you know the terrain and can guide others through it.
By the end of this programme, you will be able to:
→ Identify the early signals of stress-related deterioration and help even resistant clients notice where their nervous system and mental range are signalling overload, and see the potential benefits of working with you to turn around the trajectory they're on.
→ Use evidence-based tools to stabilise and strengthen systemic composure within your professional role.
→ Apply the MindGuard Coaching Guide's Map and EASEL tools to teach people the relevant science of stress management, nervous system regulation, resilience and relationship stability. You will know how to help clients identify what in their mindset, personal subconscious coding and nervous system is adding to their total load, and guide them in rewriting some of that programming for better systemic composure and more sustainable performance.
→ Navigate sensitive personal territory safely, and without causing concerns about professional boundaries and privacy.
→ Work with individual and systemic causes of burnout simultaneously.
